About us

Anticipate. Adapt. Integrate. Manage.

At AAIM Data Centers Inc., our mission is to anticipate tomorrow’s challenges, adapt to evolving technologies, integrate innovative solutions, and manage with precision — empowering clients with reliable, efficient, and future-ready infrastructure.

What the name means

Four commitments, in order

  1. Anticipate

the needs of our clients and the shape of tomorrow’s workloads, so capacity is ready before it is urgent.

  2. Adapt

to evolving challenges — power markets, hardware generations, and thermal envelopes that change every cycle.

  3. Integrate

innovative solutions end to end, from substation and switchgear through to the network and the rack.

  4. Manage

every aspect of operations with our own people, so accountability never gets handed to a subcontractor.

Vertical integration

We build what we operate

Every facility is designed and constructed in-house by our own team of engineers and operators. That is unusual in this industry, and it is deliberate: the people who specified the switchgear are the same people who answer when an alarm fires at three in the morning.

The result is faster turnarounds, solutions tailored to the actual workload rather than a generic template, and a single accountable partner across the whole stack — power, cooling, network, and remote hands.

That model lets us support the full range of high-density compute: AI and machine learning clusters, high-performance computing, digital asset mining, and enterprise workloads that have outgrown a traditional colocation cage.

AAIM at a glance

Our journey. Built in the Midwest.

From our founding to continued expansion, we're building the infrastructure that powers the future of compute.

  1. 2022

    AAIM is founded

Formed by a team with a combined 75 years of experience in data centers and high-performance computing.

  2. 2023

    First expansion secured

Land purchased in Nebraska to fuel the next phase of growth.

  3. 2024

    First site online

AAIM energizes its first Missouri facility in October — 10 MW, built on the site of a former clay brick plant.

  4. 2024

    Nebraska online, Minnesota secured

The first Nebraska facility is energized and land is secured in Minnesota for further expansion.

  5. 2024

    Minnesota 4 online

Minnesota 4 comes online in October, adding 7.5 MW of colocation capacity.

  6. 2025

    Minnesota 1 online

Our Blue Earth flagship is energized in June — 15 MW across nearly 10,000 sq ft.

  7. 2025

    Nebraska 1 divested

AAIM sells its first Nebraska facility in a private sale — 15 MW.

  1. 2025

    Second Nebraska site breaks ground

Construction begins near Hastings in partnership with Southern Power Public District.

  2. 2026

    Secure MN2

Minnesota 2 is secured — 20 MW of air-cooled capacity in development for Q4 2026.

  3. 2026

    Secure MN3

A third Minnesota site is secured — 10 MW of liquid-cooled capacity for Q4 2026.

  4. 2026

    Energize Nebraska 2

The second Nebraska facility is energized, bringing 12.5 MW of new regional capacity online.

  5. 2026

    Divest Nebraska 2

Nebraska 2 is divested as a 12.5 MW transaction.

  6. 2026

    Secure MN1 80 expansion

An 80 MW expansion is secured at Minnesota 1, now in design and targeted for Q3 2027.

What’s next

Where we are heading

  • Expanding across the Midwest

Growing our presence in Minnesota and neighbouring states, bringing capacity closer to clients and improving regional connectivity.

  • Tier III data center expansion

Building out Tier III capacity across our sites — concurrently maintainable power and cooling, so a facility can be serviced without taking client load offline. The 80 MW expansion in design at Minnesota 1 is the first of these.

  • Operations company support

Dedicated logistical support and expert guidance, so operators can focus on productivity rather than infrastructure.
