Minnesota 4 has been running since October 2024, adding 7.5 MW of colocation capacity to our Minnesota footprint. Clients bring their hardware; we manage the power, cooling, and connectivity around it.

Built from mobile data centers

Unlike our other sites, Minnesota 4 is not a single fixed hall. It is designed around mobile data centers — self-contained units that arrive with power distribution, cooling, and containment already built in, and are commissioned on a prepared pad rather than constructed in place.

That changes the economics of a project this size in three ways.

It is fast. Most of the build happens off site and in parallel with the groundwork, so the gap between securing power and energizing racks is measured in months rather than years.

It grows in steps. Capacity is added a unit at a time as demand arrives, instead of committing to a whole building up front and waiting for it to fill.

It is not permanent. A mobile deployment can be reconfigured, extended, or relocated as load profiles change — useful on a site where the long-term plan is still taking shape.

The same operating model

The construction method changes; the accountability does not. As with every AAIM site, Minnesota 4 is designed, built, and operated in-house, which gives clients a single accountable partner from power delivery through to remote hands.
